"My husband had the brisket tacos and said they were very good with the Alabama white sauce. I had the smoked chicken and it looked and tasted like the processed chopped chicken you get in the grocery store to go on your salads. I was expecting fresh smoked chicken breast cut up. He said he would eat here again, but I would order something else. The hushpuppies, baked beans (tasted like Bush with some onion and little flavor) and french fries were nothing great. I was expecting more and was disappointed, but would give it another try."

"Love the food. The waitress we had Patricia B was up until the end. She bought us to go cups for the big chicken tortilla. It took a long time to come back to us to leave our bill. It was annoying. Outside of it a wonderful place to eat and we will come back. Repeat performance"

"This place is a jewel. It was a real find for me. I love, love, love vegetables. And this place has an amazing assortment of vegetable dishes, sauces and dressings. I got the half rice, half-grain bowl. I choose pomegranate lamb for my protein (extra charge, and totally worth it). My server said I got 8 vegetable choices. I was overjoyed. I loaded it up. Beets, cabbage salad, artichoke hearts, olives, cous cous, roasted cauliflower, fava beans, and pickled red onions. I"

"It was a train wreck! we had to wait a long time. they were so crowded. definitiw no social distancing, especially at the bar. huge table with 14 loud college children who make dishes. it took 30 minutes until someone waits for us. salat took an hour. we were warned, not ro pick up the sushi (what was why we went there) because it would take a very long time because there was only one sushi cook. we sent them a private email to give them a chance to react and not. a bartender who covers the bar and all the tables! they admitted they overwhelmed."

"I went to Young Cardinal Cafe and Co yesterday for the first time for brunch during lunch. This cafe has been recommended to me for having great breakfast/ brunch food.I can confirm that they did not disappoint. The staff we’re giving really good service, from checking if everything is fine, getting me iced water, refilling my coffee.I had a regular coffee and an orange juice for energy. To eat, I’ve ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which really delicious.I asked my eggs to be done over easy, with it was the avocado, nacho chips, beans, tomato salsa and the pulled pork.The pulled pork was nice and juicy, very flavourful. All the Huevos Rancheros ingredients just paired perfectly.I definitely recommend locals and visitors to have a meal at Young Cardinal Cafe and Co."

"This restaurant is a GIANT among others of its kind. PROs: Not only is their food fresh and tasty (taco salad, guacamole, cheese dip, rice and beans) they do not scrimp on the portions, and they are extremely nice people. CON: Please season the ground beef with chilis and tomatoes. Rice was mushy...but I don't eat carby rice or beans anyways...LOL"
