"The restaurant was not very busy. The same waitress who took the food order, forgot one of our appetizers, so everyone else had eaten the first course there before I could begin. One waiter on the restaurant floor was particularly attentive. Eating was okay, nothing overly exciting. Disappointed that there is only a set menu on Easter Sunday instead of the full a la carte. Not sure if it was specified on the site before, but it was disappointing to learn anyway. Set menu options were relatively simple and not all options available to the time we sat to eat 7pm. The restaurant used to be a nice place to eat, but feels like it's just not really taken care of. Such a shame because it is in a great location and no longer compete with No1 Canal Street, as it has closed, so there is definitely opportunity to improve Velvet."
