"We were driving in Miramar and we were hungry, I told my wife to start looking for something to eat. She saw a sign that said BBQ and told me to turn in the next driveway. This was a great find!! We got the family platter with 1/2 pulled pork and 1/2 brisket! The meat was smoked to perfection, melt in your mouth delicious!! We live in Lemon Grove and we'll definitely be making the drive to come here again!! Amazing meat, great staff, delicious sides and worth every penny!! Thank you Mark!! We'll see you soon!!"

"The best quality of soup noodle so far I have in Chinatown chewy and good texture (not too soft or too hard) which is quite close to real canton wonton noodle, awesome! Delicious soup base and beef stew tendon. Just the stew portion is not enough. Don’t expect to have service, mostly local customers, CASH only!"

"I like it with an asterisk. To begin with, the beans they bring you are delicious. My wife and I both ordered beef brisket, and were both a little disappointed with the brisket being dry. The potato salad and cole slaw were both good. The drinks are brought in individual small pitchers with a straw for a neat unique touch. Overall, the place was OK, but if you're going to feature brisket, it ought to be consistently good and moist."

"Not a bad spot for some bbq in California. Staff were great and place was clean. Food wasn’t that warm but tasted great. The peanut butter pie didn’t taste that great which was a bummer. I would definitely visit again."
