"First time, work function of 26 people, food was served cold, tasteless, not even average, very disapointing! If the pub food is what they are good at then they should stick to cooking pub food. Waste of money that was.Not in person was happy with food.<br>
The pub is old and charming, shame about the food."

"We have gone through the Pirie Co Wine Underground story before, so have a look at that synopsis here. It has evolved into a popular nightspot (downstairs) and a busy and dependable food venue (street level). It was time for another team lunch, and due to a last minute change, we ended up at Pirie Co. It ended up being burger central. So many burgers ordered! From the 9 of us, only one person didn’t order a burger. Plus sliders were on, so a few of us chucked a couple of those in for good measure. Shows the love for this wonderful product I guess."

"Where are the live bands gone? we have come here for the appetizer drink, meet friends before a show or watch the footy on the television. the live band is no longer. very sad. the atmosphere is relaxed, casual and cocktails amazing. have noticed that the number of people coming in has fallen significantly. the chairs are a little dated, but if they were the entertainment, I think the tired decor would not really matter. the atmosphere, the personal, the live entertainment and the television would be enough. it deserves."

"I only had breakfast here a couple of times during my stay. It was perfectly fine, but nothing to get over excited about. They also do lunch and dinner, but I didn't try it as there are plenty of good restaurants around. It is open largely for the benefit of the hotel, and doesn't seem to make much effort to get customers from outside - for example, it is rarely open after 9pm."

"A grea place to have a drink and a meal. The service is very friendly and prompt. The food is extremely good. The barramundi was absolutely superb and the steak sandwich with chips was great. The steak was tender and juicy and the beer battered chips were amazing. The prices are so reasonable that it makes a great place for a meal."
