"A cosy place to meet friends with kids and watch the rugby. The Steakhouse is a grill-your-own bistro where you purchase your rump, t-bone etc from the counter and cook yourself on a fiery hot grill. Meat was delicious. However if you don't fancy cooking your own you can have burgers, pasta or pizza. I had the Lime Pork Belly burger on the specials board which was very tasty. Salad bar (Greek, potato, pasta, green) is available. Big bowls of chips went down well. Good casual food, drinks from the bar and bottles of chilled Clare Valley Savignon Blanc for $14.20. Would recommend."

"Don't bother! Arrogant staff and awful food unless you want a burger and fries with that! I was interrogated about my question on how the chicken was cooked as I didn't want deep fried, 'no Mam it's Jerk Chicken' - it was deep fried and like boot leather."

"We ordered our food and were told it'd be 20-25 minute wait- fair enough, we read that it could take that long so we were expecting that. 40 minutes later our food had not arrived. We went to ask how long it would be, and were told ours was the next order. A few minutes later the burgers arrived, but no sides. We'd finished our burgers by the time the sides arrived. The burgers were nice but the sides were pretty horrible. I had to wipe the salt off the fries with a paper napkin. I've heard they blame taking a long time for food to come on the fact they cook their food fresh to order. There are thousands of restaurants across Australia and the rest of the world that cook their food to order, and wouldn't dream of making their customers wait 45 minutes for half a meal. Get your act together."

"Don't get misled by the name - this is much more than just a Cafe. The menu is awesome - from beef, chicken, pork, duck, pasta and a whole lot more!!! Pretty cool looking place too. Very friendly servers. Located right in the heart of the City Center it's a cool place to hang, drink and or eat. Can't go wrong here!!"

"Parlour was the venue for 26 people on Friday night. Ben and Cameron looked after everything that was requested,great service. Croquettes,Calamari,Chicken sliders,sweet potato tarts and beautiful prawns all tasted lovely. Would recommend Parlour for any occasion."

"I had avoided this place for a while in Canberra because normally the quality of fish n chips around the city is quite bad, but this place has game, I ordered the Calamari n chips it also came with a salad and spicy aloli all very fresh and delicious. Prawns nice. Good warm food for cold Canberra"
