"Called in for a quick lunch and glad we did. I strangely really love peas! And so when I saw pea bruschetta on the menu I had to have. My friend had the beef burger. We both loved the food and the cafe."

"Dropped by today for a late lunch, good selection of food at a reasonable price. Had the beef burger with chips and salad. Great burger, nice juicey pattie, I haven't had mushrooms in a burger before but it was a nice touch. The chips were big and chunky and tasted great. My colleague had the soup which she really enjoyed on a chilly day.Looking forward to going back to try the pulled pork with a beer.Very friendly and efficient service from the staff and the background music was very chilled."

"A trip to the city for lunch and popped into the Criterion.<br>

The service was good, which scored it most of the points it got. I had an iced chocolate which looked all foamy on top. The reason was that it was warm and the ice cream had melted. It had ice in it which was also melting and losing the war against warm milk.<br>

The dining room was also very hot. Two small domestic air conditioners at the door didn't do the trick. It seems there is a lot of heritage to this place, it would be nice to have someone maintaining it.<br>

Bruschetta and Nachos. Both very average. On the up side it was cheap.<br>

Overall pretty disappointing."

"Had a group dinner here last month and enjoyed the food/experience. We were a large group and despite this the food and beverages flow quickly and without real problems. It didn't feel like a quiet place, so I'm not sure I would choose this for an intimate evening. Overall the menu was comprehensive, the food was plentiful and high quality, and the staff made an excellent work"
