"We live close to San Remo and almost always bring our children with us (ages 7 and 10 yrs). It is a quiet restaurant, although welcomes children (kids menus, crayons), even those who aren't quiet (like ours!). Try the truffle popcorn appetizer - it's out of this world! The wine menu is wonderful too (which is necessary when dealing with children - lol).We have also been here for date nights and large group Christmas parties - all of which were great."

"Came here for lunch today, before the big snow fall. Ordered the Roasted Beef Bone marrow (just wish for $10 i get bothside of the bone marrow), Beef Carpaccio, Pho Satay Beef Ribs that fall off the bone! For drinks I had a coffee slush...with ice cream and dark roast coffee with whipped egg yolk and Condensed milk. I love the food here and the ladies that works here are very nice and helpful. This place is located in Forest Lawn International Ave (17th Ave) They are very busy here."

"We had a really great outing for one of my boyfriends friends birthday last night at Cactus Club Barlow.I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, and finally had the opportunity to try them! Service was greT, food and drinks came fast, and hot food was served promptly. The dishes were all beautifully crafted, and everyone gobbled everything up!The cocktails were really fun and great flavour, though, a little pricey in my humble opinion.The butternut squash ravioli was impeccable, the crunchy of the sage really rounded out the richness of the brown butter sauce, and the prawns were juicy and cooked to perfection!The burgers our friends had were massive and fulfilling, the chicken in one of them crispy and full of flavour, the mini sliders had a delectable sauce, and the meat really packed a punch!The steaks looked like absolutely perfection, and the veg and mashed potatoes were honestly better than I could have hoped for, those mashed potatoes beating out the ever so popular garlic mash from moxies!Dessert was beyond perfection in looks, taste, as well as the textures. I believe we ordered one of each dessert save for the cheesecake.We will definitely be back!"
