"After leaving Piggy Smalls because they don’t serve Vietnamese food on the menu, mr.Duc himself greeted us out front. He runs the entire operation and him and his wife run a fabulous restaurant. Mention you park across the street and you get free parking! He’s served Hawaii for 40 years and his food and service will bring us back!!! The steak was incredible and the baguette was amazing!"

"They have been around for a long time. They were rated one of the Top 5 places for Saimin around O'ahu. The staff treat you like ohana as if you just stopped by to eat. Great selection and of course I had the large saimin.it was perfect for an early dinner and was so filling. I also had a side of fried tofu."

"The two stairs is strictly for the service and ambiance. The food is very average and overpriced. You are strictly paying for the ambiance and scenery. The portions are kid sized and no adult can possible get full off of it. I don’t eat a lot and I leave hungry every single time. This time being my last bc the prices keep going up which is fine but give us adult portions please!"

"Not worth the money at all, do not go here. Pictures looked very good; paid $11 each for a taco salad and an Indian butter chicken . When we got it, it did not look like the picture at all. There was cilantro on the butter chicken in the picture, yet no cilantro, and the color was totally different. We think it was just curry. The taco salad, on the other hand, barely had any meat, majority of it was just lettuce. Both tasted bland, as much flavor as you can get from instant microwaveable/frozen food, which is probably not too far from the truth, since I literally saw them use the microwave. Customer service is a big yikes too. The cashier barely gave any eye contact to me, but instead was staring at my partner, even though I was the one clearly ordering/talking. Very weird. Saw lots of good reviews and good pictures too, so very excited at first, but was thoroughly disappointed. Yikes."
