"As far as Tex-Mex places I've visited, this is one of the best. Loved the location and the building vibes, our waitress Lisa was very nice and provided an excellent customer service. Food had a great taste and the portions were plenty (two people can eat from one plate). I'm not giving 5 stars due to it felt like our table was not clean well, and I perceived a funny smells (not bad) is just odd. Besides that I do recommend the place for a quick dinner and not expending a lot."

"3.5% CARD CHARGE! Cash is best…. Came here before it took over laundry, and that small feeling felt great. Food was great then, now idk what happen but food not having a great taste anymore. The chips tasted old either old frying oil or the corn tortillas old taste. Then the nachos came, using the same chip style and flavor. Eat half just because didn’t want to waste it but only half… the food arrive no flavor. Tasteless maybe due to each adding their own salt or pepper to their liking but still blunt flavor. The best out of all these was the tortillas they are puffy and soft. Love them tortillas. Had three waitress served us so not sure who to tip or all in general. Just didn’t feel it today. Ima give it one more try but at this time not in any hurry tho."

"The most delicious food. The carnitas were mouth watering the sopapillas were the best I’ve had. They take reservations which is great. The service was the best. Very friendly hospitable staff. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will go back every time I come to San Antonio."
