"I was excited to treat my best friend for her bday lunch and was disappointed at the level of service. First, our server informed us that the bottle of wine we ordered was not available. She did not offer a substitute and was not willing to speak with her manager when we requested for a substitute. We finally settled on another more expensive bottle and she struggled opening it so we offered to open it for her or suggested her bartender do it for us. When she poured out the bottle, she did not offer a taste either! We were appalled! Second, as I went to the restroom I almost bumped into who looked like the MOD as he rushed out of a back room and whom did not acknowledge the run in. I thought that was quite rude. With the stellar reputation of the Vintage Cave, I was very disappointed with our experience. I hope this serves as a training opportunity. Mahalo! Valerie"
