"Loved our experience. I booked for 8 but at the last minute I had 12 and they were super helpful rearranging to fit us all in. The food was delicious, the ambience was great, the bar next door was lively but didn’t overspill into the restaurant. I would definitely be going back. Only comment is that as it was pricier for drinks it would be for a special occasion rather than a regular visit."

"Truely Authentic Italian Food. I live in Sydney where we have a fantastic authentic italian quarter, I also lived in Italy for a year so I have eaten a lot of really great Italian food. Consequently I can be very critical when trying new italian restaurants so believe me when i say i think i have had my best italian food tonight. I do not usually write reviews, but i feel compelled to tell people about this meal. The staff are extremely warm and friendly and the restaurant has a wonderful intimate feel to it. The waiter, manager and head chef had all greeted us within a minute of entering the restaurant. You very quickly feel like you are back in italy with the family. Although the menu is quite short with around 5-6 choices for starters, pasta dishes and main courses we seemed to take forever to decide between the different options as they all seemed so appealing. When the food came we were not disappointed. Each dish used beautiful fresh ingredients as well as home made pastas, i cannot express how sensational they were. As the restaurant primarily serves food from puglia I tried the Orecchiette with brocoli and italian sausage which is a regional speciality. genuinely i have not had flavours like this outside italy, and infact not even in the north of italy. My partner ordered the amatriciana which is apparently the chef's speciality dish and was incredible. It looked like a typical tomato based sauce but the flavours were perfectly balanced and the flavour sublime. For dessert, i had tiramisu, for that is how i judge italians. it is a simple dessert which is why it is hard to make it stunning. This was fantastic and innovative, the bicsuit base was more chocolatey and crumbly with cream some how melted and mixed in the base. They really have a winning combination here. The friendly warm southern italian staff, who continue to perpetuate the notion of the hospitality and warmth of the italians as well as the beautiful fresh food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a genuine italian experiance. I can't wait to go back."

"28-50 emerged as a chic and classy enclave, affording a memorable dinner. We were greeted by Hamoussa, who guided us to a great table and provided guidance with a dash of panache. Olives and fresh bread (extra credit for the creamy whipped butter) got us off to a delicious start. Charcuterie, smoked salmon, celeriac and sea bass provided the entree show. All served by Renee, another friendly ambassador of the 28-50 style and name. Happy to return if the situation occurs. A recommendation."

"I was here yesterday after a friend had recommended it to us, the food was nice. Some of their menu has made a part of home Pasta, I had made the house lasgnetta di mare and my girlfriend had the delicious pappardelle with venison ragù. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. I'll be right back to London."
