"We ate here a weekday evening, book before (note, there is an ugly no show fee.) the ambiente is pleasant, although one of our party found the bench uncomfortable. the personal was friendly, although not the answer to some of our (fairly basic.) ask about eating. they can mix a complex set menu with add ons, with set wine menu or only separate glasses from it. there are many amuses to start, all very pretty; black tart was particularly charming. a first cure of makrelensalat with birne was interesting. with cauliflower also; delicious broth. the lamb with the aubergine was ok, although the baba ghanoush was a little spicy for my taste, and I would have preferred the lamb less well made. there were 2 good cheeses, with a home jam. the only dish that really enthused us was the dessert of warm boiled plants awarded with sorrel sorbet! the weeps were served with a lot of enthusiasm and background details; a piece terroir with one, for all to handle, seemed curious covid insensitive. I wouldn't go back."
