"The place is so cute, the inside is warm and inviting. We were celebrating a birthday so we were sat in “The Nook” It was a small private room that could hold 6-8, it has a window and they had a wax melt in there that was nice light scent. There weren’t a lot of other patrons but there is a bar area so they might have been others there. We enjoyed the food. The steak was cooked perfectly. The crab cake was delicious, green beans were tasty and the seafood platter was good as well. It’s a little on the pricey side but the food was good and the portions were perfectly sized."

"Booking from opentable never came through and with it being a group booking for 12, I feared we would struggle. Bar staff were ever so apologetic and assured us they would remedy the problem. Within 15 minutes we were all day down with a drink in a cosy booth where we could chat and catch up. Waitress came and took the order including drinks and everything arrived in due course. Forget solita or almost famous, these burgers are the real deal and absolute drinking value for money. Rather than being over priced and leaving you hungry, the food certainly hits the spot. £5 a pint is acceptable for the city and there's a good selection of craft beer too. Selection of spiced rum and gin too is good. Many thanks to the staff for accommodating us after the opentable booking disaster."
