"This is not a cheap restaurant, but the standard of food was indeed excellent. Menu is non-standard and all the better for that. Service lacked something as things were forgotten and we had to ask again. Overall definitely recommended."

"From start to finish, the welcome at Saltwater could not have been better, or the service more attentive. On a hot summer evening, we were placed at a table by the open window upstairs, looking over the street; it was perfect. We decided on 2 starters each, no main and a dessert. My wife started with oysters and I had scallops. Both were delicious. She then went on to a bowl of mussels, and I had a plate of shrimp scampi. They too were delicious. For pudding we had chocolate torte and a blueberry cake. It was a memorable meal. The bill, though, was quite a lot more than we had expected, which took the shine off the evening a little.But that apart, this is a very good restaurant, well run and with good cooking. Well worth a visit."
