"I've been here for the rooftop bar at night. This time I came for brunch and tried the Egg Benedicts and they're both delicious. I like the Smoked Salmon more because it goes down easier but the Crab Cakes were good, soft, and tasty."

"This place is absolutely divine. We sat outside under a marquee in the sun. The food was perfect as were the kombuchas and the owner, Dean, was an absolute delight, taking time to serve us personally, sit and talk. He also owns The Village Idiot on Melrose, so I can’t wait to go there too. Will definitely visit again."

"Atmosphere: stylish looking, but unexpectedly loud for a nice restaurant. Service: top notch. We asked them to overthrow the food as we had to visit a whisky tasting and the food came within 5 minutes. It was impressive. Food: very good. The Burra Pizza was the best part. For a unique appetizer try the portobello Fritten. Good Macarons, too. Overall: If it was not so loud, it would be perfect, but nevertheless an excellent experience."

"This review only applies to the service, as we left before we could eat. After we sat down, it took a while for our server to come to our table, so when she did we order our drinks and dinner. 25 minutes went by and we still did have our drinks (a Sprite and a hot tea). With our server nowhere in sight we made the decision to cut our loses and we left. The ambience is great, but the slow service seems to be a common complaint in this restaurant. Hopefully the management will get the message and address the problem."

"This is a unique restaurant in the south (sometimes say Cajun, but I don't) style cooking. There is a little hole in the wall type of space and decor is not present. The waitresses were there forever it seems and don't worry too much about the service. BUT, the chicken is fresh and hot and pretty good, but a little cooked a little dark for me. Their speciality for dessert is buttermilk cake and cobbler. Both overpriced. At least I can say that I tried buttermilk cake – it was strange."

"We had a great time. The conversation was really fabulous and we loved how close we were to the actors. Food was excellent and unusual. Service was excellent. The whole scene was 10. But a cave doesn't wear good jewelry here. I lost a bracelet that night when I pulled my coat to go. I called the restaurant and they never called me back. I called again and they were quite rude and indifferent to my situation. Was not impressed by their empathy or helpful attitude especially because there was no one."
