"What a great find! This pub is within easy walking distance of Kings Cross St Pancras. A warm welcome by the lady behind the bar who actively informed me of the wide ranging beer choices. I received some great advice on what to taste. Perfect place to come for a beer and food. Whilst I didn't stay for it they clearly have a lot of evening events, from comedy to karaoke, which are hosted in a separate function room. Lots of character and a lively atmosphere."

"I went over to see a friend and decided to eat something, which was a big decision! I had the American walnut burger, which had a big, very high-quality burger. The fries were great and even the salad garnish was good. The other half had a pizza, which was fine bark and with an excellent taste. The drinks had a very reasonable price for central London, for example, 12 for a bottle of wine from the house, that's cheaper than all my locals out of London! The bar has a large area, so it is ideal for meeting with friends. I didn't visit the restaurant upstairs, but I'm sure it'll be the same quality as the bar menu, so I'll definitely visit it on a later date. Oh, and the bar staff is great, very nice and attentive. Thank you for a beautiful afternoon!"

"Master plaice is definitely the best place to have English breakfast. The staff are so polite and welcoming. The food is delicious! Absolutely love it!!!! Great for kids and solo too! Thank you master plaice for the great service"

"Painfully slow service. make sure they have time when they go there, as the personal rather chat and feast around instead of serving them. they are completely uninterested and have a problem of employment. coffee takes in the regular 2-3 minutes to other places, here they can expect to wait at least10 minutes and it is not very good coffee. that happened to me at least three times. they also have a look into the cup as I was served a latte with congealed milk in the inner. it was lumpy and not nice, so just went into the müll. If they can't even get a cup of coffee, then there is very little hope for all others. the salates are tasteless, so they drown with sauce/clothing. a lot of luck with her diet! it is also expensive, but they know that they have the monopol in the opposite, as there are no other food places."
