"What can I say, whenever visiting Long Beach, one of our goals was to check out Roscoes for their chicken n waffles and that's exactly what we did. It was a pretty large establishment and quite dated, but, we went for the food and not the ambience. Our order came pretty quick and it the chicken was moist and quite oily, and the waffles were more crunchy than I would have liked. But all in all it wasn't all that bad. I would have done 3.5 stars, but since there aren't half stars, I rounded up because of it's history."

"Really good option for vegans. they know how to work with vegan cheese (daiya cheese). I take the berkeley vegan! with marinara sauce, vegan Daiya cheese, veggie burger crumbs, zucchini, tomatoen, mushrooms, red tweezers, paprika. overall I ordered it. takes about 30min. really good!"

"My husband and I went for the first time, my husband was starving, they will tell you they have tapas style, but they serve a lot of food, we had the tuna tartar for appetizer it was delicious and very good size, we also order fried yucca and it was great, not greasy at all. My husband had the pork and I had 2 tacos, let me tell you that was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this place. They were busy and they had one server, but he had helped, he got busier towards the end. Not his fault, the restaurant needs to hire more servers."

"This restaurant does not accept reservations on open table. Although we made a reservation a month in advance they did not honor it. I complained that they had our info and could have called us to let us know so we could make other arrangements. Only then they agreed to finally seat us. The place is the IT spot right now. Arrive early on Sundays otherwise you may not get seated. The food is home cooked with love."

"The ambiance, and views make for a great venue for a date. They do have a great happy hour so the restaurant is lively and live music. The food was tasty. I ordered the fish special of the day which was a yellow tail dish. It was very good. My girlfriend ate the Mahi Mahi. She wasn't crazy about it, but liked it so so. For dessert we shared their version of the Creme Brulee..called the Brass Monkey. It was very good. I would recommend this restaurant for happy hour, live music, and great views."

"Sad. The water tasted like mold. Made me sick just drinking it. I ordered the prime rib dip and it was absolutely greasy everywhere. My boyfriend got the fish and chips and they were also greasy a lot as well. The waiter was nice though and kept coming to ask if we needed anything. Great hospitality but really greasy food and terrible water."
