"We were in the French countryside for a wedding, and happened upon a gem. The restaurant was a great find. The owner was attentive, helpful with dinner choices, and charming. The menu included many salad, tagine, couscous, and shish kebab choices. A wonderful evening. I...enjoyed the Couscous Berbere. I was given plates of couscous, delicious potatoes and vegetables in a chicken broth, chicken, sausage, and a mini platter of things to add such as currants, beans, and spices. They were accompanied by an empty bowl in order to combine these items as desired into such a tasty meal. I was pleased that I could manage the spice level of my meal. When I was finished, I was pleasantly full, the food felt light. My daughter had the Tagine Aux Dattes. This was a mixture of chicken, dates, couscous, onions, and almonds which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her friend ordered the Salade Marrakech which looked wonderful, and she enjoyed. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in!"
