"Their strap line is ‘probably the best cappuccino outside of Rome’, most definitely time to scrub this off the wall. Visited with a simple order for coffee and was greeted with watery brown sludge and a side order of burnt milk. There was an empty unfriendly atmosphere with none of the patrons showing any signs of either social distance or mask wearing, there was no protection for the staff and the barman came and served within the 1 meter without a mask. On seeing the conditions within I ordered to go and the drink tasted as bleak as the place it’s self. The grind was either over poured or under dosed leaving you with a large measure of brown water topped with overheated milk. Come here for half a beer but if you like coffee go somewhere else"

"Oh dear location great but service could be improved. Cheap and cheerful cafe with basic menu although they couldn’t do baked potato day we went. Food was OK abut took over 30 mins for toasted ciabatta and a sandwich. Staff were very poor, no communication skills and although not rude not helpful either. We asked for a high chair and the young girl didn’t know if they had one. One was brought but we had to clean it down. Could be a great place but probably won’t go back."

"We only had a drink here, but loved the look of the menu. We had a latte and an oat milk latte, both lovely. Our dog was made welcome. Mark kept us entertained, all the staff were very friendly. We'd definitely go back"

"The Goat was able to accommodate 8 of us at short notice. The food was delicious and the portions were generous the Steak and Kidney Pie was amazing huge! but yes, it all got eaten! Many thanks to Helen for taking care of us."

"A fantastic cafe for breakfast and lunch, everything on the menu is good be we highly recommend the home cooked ham with real home made chips.
