"Spending a week in nearby Kewstoke we came into Weston a couple of times and this little tea room is the only place we found with any charm. The tea was lovely, served in vintage cups and saucers and the furniture very comfortable, a refreshing change from the burger and chips joints that seem to dominate Weston. Was surprised also to see they have chinese bubble tea on the menu. We didn 't try any cakes or sandwiches but the ones we saw looked delicious. Personally I think they should ditch the clothes and offer home made cakes or a deli."

"THE GEORGE TEA ROOM part of a converted 14 th Century Coaching Inn . Which resides in the Pretty Village of Felton . (BS40 5 mins from Bristol Airport . Surprisingly ! the converted barn which is The Tea Room is full of light shining through the floor to ceiling doors , which lead out on to a delightful decking area with more seating and surrounding pretty floral displays . In old vintage storage boxes lie parasols , cushions , and throws for those inclement weather days . Inside is decorated in a bright contemporary style with cabinets full of old delicate china pieces , from teapots, cups, plates and spoons. Lush cakes "

"We waited 1.5hrs for service- Bruschetta cold uncooked bread. Not authentic Italian one of our party complained..the acting manager was a bit overwhelmed but her customer service skills were top notch..we were a party of 7 on a busy tea time on a Saturday night. If this was my business I would be around managing it. This restaurant has potential. It just needs the owner onsite managing it especially on a Saturday!!!!"

"Staying at the Anchor Head hotel up the road we were going to visit the Claremont Vaults pub at lunch time while waiting for the room. Unfortunately it was closed, contrary to the times published on their web site. Being a bit out of town we were at something of a loss, until we noticed a sign for the Terrace Cafe Bar. This place is exactly what the title describes, a cross between a cafe and a bar. There is a very nice area at the back where you can sit in the sun (if it 's out! and look out over the estuary. They have a good selection of beers and reasonably priced too. We had been intending to get fish and chips for lunch at Nelson 's next door, but there was a notice on the door saying the business had been closed down. Not our day really, but luckilly they do food at the Terrace. We both had the Brunch , basically an English breakfast, which was cooked nicely, but at £6.50 we would have expected a bit more. The guy behind the bar was friendly and helpful, and the place has a smart, clean appearance. All in all, this is a nice place to visit and we would return if in the area again."

"Travel a lot and usually rely on this group for basic food and drink around UK but the staff in here are impolite and useless we entered my wife sat at table whilst i got drinks we and another gent on the next table got...moved as a group of six came in then went out to shop returned to pub to find a gollum lookalike refusing me entry as he said he had been there 30 mins and i hadnt come in asked if i could collect my wife and finish my drink he escorted me to my table and then disappeared without an apology awful experience in a pub chain where you dont expect much"
