"I love Tapa Prince and their chocolate cake. I didn't see this place crowded though. Tapa King is no longer the first choice for a Filipino breakfast. Kanto Freestyle in the same neighborhood has attracted most of the people. This joint may just be alive because of its motorcycle delivery service ... just what we need when we're hiding in the office during a severe storm."

"Was excited to try the food here. As we enter we were seated right away. As it was my first time eating here a waiter gave us a quick tutorial on how to order using the iPad tablet on the table. I was a bit confused though as we were also given the usual table menu. They told us that there were some items that are in the paper menu but are not on the iPad menu. And only the items that are on the iPad that are available for ordering. That said, it still didn't explained why they gave us the paper menu. Anyway, so we ordered from the tablet, and it was so nifty and "hi tech" and the food was service was also quite fast since we were served maybe within 10 to 15 minutes. Also if you are not comfortable ordering via iPad, a waiter can explain everything to you. <br>

As for the food, most of their items are served "teishoku" style or "complete meal set" style. In other words, most of their entrees comes with a bowl of rice, miso soup, chawanmushi or japanese savory egg custard and japanese pickles. I had the Mix Toji Teishoku which is a mix of pork Katsu, shrimp katsu and sukiyaki style beef served on a hot stone dish and the rice was served separately. My brother had the sukiyaki teishoku which is a a big bowl of sukiyaki with both thin noodles and thick udon noodles. As for flavor, it was really good. I like that the sukiyaki beef was really tender and sweet. And the pork katsu was also tender and flavorful. I love that the food were served on hot stone dishes which kept the food warm all through out the entire meal. What I didn't like though, was that the rice and the miso soup were not refillable. But the rice was real Japanese rice so it was really good eventhugh it was "bitin". I ate everything on my set except for the chawanmushi which I never really developed a liking to. Drinks were not included with the set so we ordered lemon iced tea which was also not refillable.<br>

Once you are done, you can again click on the iPad to check your bill and to signal the waiter to get your payment. Prices were a bit expensive comparing it to other Japanese restaurants and considering they don't have free refills.<br>

This is not the first restaurant that I have eaten here in Manila that offers this unique experience of ordering from a tablet. And I think it is a more efficient way of servicing customers. I think children of all ages will like this new "hi-tech" way of service. I just wish this establishment will have more branches out soon!"

"It would be impossible to check waffos without comparing it with his direct competitor, famous belgian waffles, and I say that waffos comes up. the most remarkable thing they first notice is of course price, waffos is 2-3x more expensive, but I feel like it justifies that because I get 2-3x more waffel. it is much bigger and thicker than the other, and above all, that this crispy outside I look for in a Belgian waffel. if you waffel is not crispy, this is just a well-made pancake, that is a legitimate waffel. this is something that can be good for two while the other is definitiw for one. that are two versions of the same thing and I...read more"

"Beef Rendang Soft, tender and tasty brisket with a good filling portion for a hungry man . Quite the same consistency with Beef Rendang I've been ordering from other south east asian neighbor <br br/>Nachos Cruncy freshly popped tortilla chips with saucy toppings of nacho cheese , jalapeno and ground beefssss... its just simply YUMMY!<br br/>Chicken Tikka Masala Tasty Tikka Masala sauce however the chicken meat itself lacks flavor and is a lil malansa taste like raw chicken) for me.<br br/>Pizzas are great, soft chewy pizza dough with tasty toppings for both Rustic Pizza and BBQ Chicken Pizza.<br br/>Truffle Mac Cheese this is well loved by my friends and has been repeatedly ordering this dish for the last visits. "TWG stands for The Wellness Group. It's a Singaporean franchise that specializes in tea. Although TWG Tea Shangrila Mall is located in an open space in the middle of the East Wing, it seemed like a different world when we stepped inside its transparent glass walls. Everything about it definitely screams high-end. <br>

Aside from the usual menus, we were given a Tea Book. It has detailed descriptions for over a hundred varieties of tea, all of which are being offered by TWG Tea. Hubby wanted something along the lines of Japanese green tea (but not Genmaicha since we always have Genmaicha) and so the server suggested Sencha.<br>

So we ordered a pot of Sencha (P295). Sencha is described in the Tea Book as a green tea with a strong, grassy fragrance and floral accents. It’s supposed to go well with meals. One pot contains roughly three cups. You can’t ask for more hot water when it runs out. I thought it was just so-so, nothing special. I probably would not order it...
