"What sets this Dros apart, is without doubt the location. Bordering on Springbok Park in Hatfield. Awesome to sit in the shade of ancient trees in this sweltering Pretoria summer. <br/>They have a great Hatfield Dros Breakfast special egg, bacon, tomato toast plus coffee for R25.99! <br/>My grilled calamari potato chips were good. Excellant chips/fries!<br/>I like the pickled onions and fresh Feta in the side salad.<br/>Attention from the manager and service were impressive. Safe parking available."

"The food was delicious and tasty, very surprising. The waiter was friendly and helpful. The T-Bone was tender and perfectly cooked, a perfect medium rare. The potatoe side was nice and crispy. The small side salad was quite a lot once I put it in the plate. The prices were very reasonable"

"Popular with the locals, La Monaco is a cozy place with daily specials and a smaller but sufficient menu. I've heard the Avo Biltong salad is amazing but I was hungry and went for a beef lasagne while fiancé had a chicken pot pie. Both meals were tasty enough and good portions, both with a decent side salad. The capuccino was a bit average, not the strong cuppa we were hoping for. I also had a Toni Glass peppermint tea, the Toni Glass selection that La Monaco now serves is a bit pricey but the selection is great and the tea really does go down well. <br/ <br/ Only drawback to La Monaco would be the lack of parking if you're lucky there might be a spot open but generally it's easiest to stop across the road and walk over. Good spot for a lunch break and the decor is cute and quirky. We didn't try a dessert but I would go back to try one sometime."

"Loved the decor set up. The menu is extensive with a variety of choices flavors! The portions are perfect too! And the side salad was generous. We had the beef espetada and rump with chicken livers flavorsome cooked excellently! We will definitely be back!"
