"Visit this restaurant for lunch.Friendly surprised. food is excellent and prices are very affordable. A lot of choices too. the sugar shack-style pancakes are very good. the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the shades are relaxing and we do not grow in the back to complete our meal"

"We decided to try this restaurant while doing an overnight stay on our way back home after visiting P.E.I. we were a little concerned that we don’t speak French and we had left our French speaking son back at the hotel, however once the staff...realized were spoke only English they were more than willing to speak to us in English. The staff are all very friendly. When we arrived there was a four piece band playing and we wished we had arrived earlier as they were quite good. Both my husband and I had beer. I had the stout which was very nice and my husband had the India pale ale which he also enjoyed. We shared the fondue to start which was more like deep fried cheese sticks than a traditional fondue as we know it. They were really good. For mains my husband had the chicken pizza. He ended up taking half back to the hotel for later as it was quite large and I had the crab spinach pasta which was delicious. For desert I had orange creme brûlée which was yummy and my husband had something made with pistachios and raspberries. We have no ide what it was but it was also delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the meals and we would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the neighbourhood to give them a try."

"We went to the Restaurant Menuet Oriental for a change of pace from the highly rich and meat-filled dished we had been eating. The restaurant featured Vietnamese cuisine which all of us like. My wife and I had vegetarian plates -- delicious vegetables properly cooked in wonderful sauces -- mine was a spicy curry that was excellent. I also had a hot spicy soup to begin that "was to die for." We ordered brown rice which we prefer and did find often in Canada. It too was excellent. A very nice meal; excellent service; fairly priced. Pleasant roomy ambiance in the down-town area. Highly recommend."
