"This Restaurant was recommended to us, by the Owners of Cote Sud, where we were staying. It is quite a haul up to the Auberge from the lower part of Troo, via a series of steps and steep paths, but the struggle was well worth...it! The Formula 3 Course Menu at just over 16 Euros was well priced and the choice varied. All the dishes presented were beautifully prepared and we enjoyed them all. The local wine that we chose Coteaux du Vendomois Rose, from the nearby Domaine du Four a Chaux Winery was wonderful. We were particularly pleased, because we had bought wine from there, earlier in the day. With 3 or 4 tables being attended to, the Chef Proprietor, on his own, did really well to ensure that all our Courses were delivered in good time and also to give us close attention. A Coffee at 1 Euro and complementary Digestifs, rounded off a wonderful dining experience."
