"I have eaten at Fat Buddies in Waynesville, the food is good, for the price there could definitely be more. I feel like the BBQ dinner plate is the size of a kids meal only difference is the extra side. I'm from Eastern NC, I am really disappointed that a NC BBQ restaurant doesn't offer Eastern NC sauce for the Pork BBQ, but they offer a Georgia Mustard Style Sauce it's very disappointing and frustrating because I feel like Fat Buddies could definitely step up they're quality of portions and create more sauces so I rate this restaurant a half star maybe even a one star very unsatisfied every time I've tried it. Definitely want go back and don't recommend it to anyone"

"This was a great home cooked style meal. I had the pulled pork tacos and the meat, coleslaw, and sauce were all exceptional. It was so good I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which came with home made chips and what tasted like a fresh baked bun. Would highly recommend this location."
