"I didn't realize this was a hotel restaurant when I booked the reservation. I might have considered another location had I realized it was in a hotel. The food and service were very good. The brunch buffet was fairly fresh and hot. It was a little noisy and very expensive. But overall an enjoyable brunch."

I've been living on foolishness for over a year and finally managed to get it here. they have the best coffee on the island, oh and smoothies, there is also an espresso bar, but if nothing is for them, they get the bloody mary and call it a day. ask for connecticut when they come to the host booth. they will be with andrea (who is from connecticut) and it is all downhill from there. be cool, be cool, tip high, stay blessed. “Mic drop”....” crowd goes wild"

"The food was good, but they were from most beers and drinks from the drinks card. No maize bread was ready at 5:00, although it should come with meals. The modifications to the children's courts were not honored (to switch from sorted fruits in one way) and the server recognized it, but not trouble correcting it."

"We wanted to try Virginia's on King for some time. Unfortunately, expectations were dashed. Our server was outstanding and the mixed drinks tasty. However, the tomato pie looked like a bowl of melted cheese with a couple sliced tomatoes on top. Hubby's burger and fries were not hot. Daughter's meatloaf looked like bread. It was decent, but lacked personality. The server started out well, but never returned with more water, though we requested more a couple of times. All in all for a mediocre dinner was the last straw."

"Republic is one of my favorite Charleston spots when it gets warm out. I love the vibe they have created outside and it’s just a great place to have fun with friends. Their staff is always beautiful and friendly. Kaitlin was very attentive and was super fun. She made me and my girlfriends experience there a 10/10."
