"Unfortuately, this little restaurant is not on the main pedestrian strip so is easily overlooked. However, once you've found it, you'll be delighted with the friendly, smiling and charming conversations to be had with the waiter. I felt like I was back in India. We had the Malai Kofta and Honeymoon Chicken which were delicious and there are many dishes to choose from, in fact 150 items on the menu. One naan, 2 mains and 3 beverages cost us 25 euro, which we thought was indeed reasonable. I'll be popping in again next week. Shiwa can be reached from Möckernbrücke or Mehringdamm U:bahn stations - 10 minute walk from each."

"Schon sehr oft habe für zuhause Essen dort telefonisch Essen bestellt. Insbes., wenn ich spontanen Besuch hatte, aber auch so. Das zeigt ja schon, dass ich in jeder Hinsicht zufrieden sein muss, sonst wäre ich dort nicht mehr Kundin. Gelegentlich habe ich dort auch vor Ort gegessen: Es ist ein sehr schlichtes, dabei sauberes und sehr kleines Restaurant in einer Seitenstrasse von der Gneisenaustr. (ca. 8 Min. zu Fuß von U-Gneisenaustrasse).Die Bedienung ist sehr höflich, und die leckeren Gerichte sind teilweise in besonders schöner Art angerichtet. Einfach mal hingehen! Von dort aus ist es übrigens (immer geradeaus, über die Blücher-/Urbanstr.) nicht weit zum grünen Landwehrkanal. Sie stoßen auf das sehenswerte "Alte Zollhaus", & es bietet sich im weiteren ein schöner Ufer-Spaziergang zur in allen Reiseführern beschriebenen #Admiralbrücke & darüber hinaus an."
