"We've been to Gaylord in Schaumburg, so since we lived in Chicago, we decided to try this location. The food here is excellent, but the service is missing. I expected the restaurant to be filled more on a Saturday night, but it was quite empty. The waiter couldn't get our drinks orders right! Three of us ordered dirty martinis with blue cheese olives. I asked the waiter if they had blue cheese olives and he said they had it. My husband ordered a gimlet on the rock. The Martinis came out not only 'Dirty', but there were no olives in one of them. The gimlet was served in a martini glass. When we asked about the blue cheese olives (the waiter seemed quite old and we didn't want to confuse him by reordering our drinks) we were regularly brought pimento olives. My husband's gimlet was served in a martini glass without ice. So the waiter brought a glass of ice and tried to pour gimlet from the martini glass into the glass of ice. We offered to help, but he refused and then spilled part of the drink on the table! The food was very good, but the service was slow. We had hoped that this would be our new 'go to' Indian restaurant since Jaipur closed, but we need to look further. The Gaylord in the suburbs is much better that the Chicago location when it comes to service, which is a main reason that people are going instead of ordering!"

"I'm in shock by the experience I just had. I don't write that many reviews but every now and then you come across some outrageous place and you gotta say something. My biryani was not fresh. I've not been able to hold it down. I asked for kheer.They didn't bother telling me it was sold out. They sent me home with gulab jamun that's semi frozen, rotten and moldy. Guy whogave me the food looked at me with a straight face and pretended like this is normal. Honestly I thought something else funnywas going on, oh shoot, they saw a brother and tried to make me eat something funny. They gave me a lassi as replacement, lassismells like fish. You know that smell on food when it was stored with fish.. I can't believe what I just experienced. It's beena nightmare"
