"When we decided that we wanted Korean food on Monday, this was the only restaurant in Augusta that was open. I'm glad it was or we could never have tried and the food was wonderfully delicious. I had the Bibimbap-soo good! And my friends all had Bulgogi and they all commented on how good the taste was. And, guys, I judge Korean restaurants on their cabbage Kimchi taste – and it was good. The staff was very friendly – we came in approx. 45 minutes from closing and they allowed us to finish food without feeling hastened (even if we left 10 minutes after closing for the night). The Golden Garden Restaurant was a great find!"

"This is such a hidden gem. I moved from LA several months ago and had been really missing the Korean food. When I found Happy House it made my night. The service was amazing and the food came fast and was delicious. I got the Kimchi Jigae and LOVED IT. My wife, who is new to Korean food and not a fan of Kimchi, got the chicken Korean BBQ plate and raved about it. The menu is huge (really, enormous) so they have something for everyone. Fried rice or chicken Katsu could be perfect for kids who are new to spicy food. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!"

"When you walk in the atmosphere is dark and not a lot of patrons. Not really a oriental type of place to us. I was hungry for Korean (they were all closed because it is a Monday), so we settled upon this place after reading the reviews.Food was average at best. Appetizers was a sampler platter of steamed dumplings (came out cold, as in not hot), spring rolls (overcooked) and and fried Gyoza (also overcooked but this was delicious).I had the Teriyaki Udon with Shrimp, it had way to much sauce (like swimming in sauce) and the entire plate was overcooked. Noodles were soggy; the broccoli was flimsy (should be crunchy or al dente).My mom had the Miso which was the Best thing we ate.Our server was attentive and helpful. Informed us the cook walked out during his shift. Wasn't sure if it was before or during making our meals.There was only 3 tables in the place and a couple of people at the bar.Unfortunately I will not be back, when I am in town."

"This was honestly the best meal we?ve had in a LONG time. Definitely the best food we?ve had in Augusta by FAR. Everything was SO fresh and delicious? it felt like completely CLEAN eating without feeling? pretentious, ya know?? Like the chef made EVERY single thing with all the love in the world.
