"The food is generally well cooked and pleasant. The people who take our order are usually helpful and friendly. I would give them 5 stars if they were more gluten-free / dairy-free options, even bread. A bonus would on their menu be the type of oil they in or identify soy-free options. Also confusing when people should drive their own tables or allow the staff."

"Really a great place! It was a little pricey, but it was really good. We sat outside and it was perfect weather. The service was really good. I had the hangover special. It was a good amount of food but not overly too much. My wife had the french toast with fruit which was made with baguette bread instead of normal bread. It was really good! We also tried the lemon cheesecake which was alright. The style they have is almost gelatinous and springy, which really isn't for me. Tried the cream puffs as well which were really good! Definitely will be back though, thanks guys!"

"I have lived in Longview for 5 years and today was only my second or third time ever eating at Porkys, despite living less than 2 miles away. Today my two friends and I had a hell day at work (we are all caregivers) so we decided to hit Porkys up for dinner and drinks and it did not disappoint. My friends both ordered off the holiday drink menu and were satisfied with all their drinks except for one, the waitress quickly offered to make her a replacement and when she choose to stick with water they reimbursed her for the drink. I had a delicious Arnold Palmer to drink which was prompt refilled every time it was empty and a mouth watering French dip with fries for dinner. The French dip was moist and cooked perfectly and the aujus is not too salty at all. My friends stuck with appetizers only and truly enjoyed the deep fried mushrooms and the small bucket of fries. We will definitely be back in the future!"
