"I am eating here tomorrow night to catch up with some old friends, and I called to request a table thats dog friendly be reserved. The staff who answered the phone was so so lovely to organise with and so positive about bringing my pooch along, very different to many other places who arent pet-friendly. Despite not having eaten here yet, 5 stars from me for wonderful and friendly service!"

"We ate here on Saturday 12th March and silly us, left our shopping behind in the restaurant. We didn’t realise until we returned home from our trip a week later. My husband phoned the pub to see if they found it, and the wonderful Dylan said they did and had kept it for us. Dylan went to the trouble to actually post it to us in Newcastle. We are still blown away by their kindness to us and what an asset Dylan is. Oh, and also, our meals were wonderful too. Many, many thanks to Dylan and the Imperial Hotel."

"We were in rydges armidale after a fabulous stay at the sister hotel in tamworth. unfortunately the restaurant was not as good as the one in tamworth. the food was nice enough, although for the price the quality was not there. the servier sizes were sufficient. The...staff appeared a little lost and there was no training in the a la carte dining room. we had also made a booking weeks in advance only to say that the restaurant was booked for a function, but we could have room service! I really know that the pandemic has taken its toll on personal and business, but if standards cannot be complied with, there should be other changes to allow the reduced services and impact on quality. we had breakfast included. that was just a buffet, no order. unfortunately, the food was warm and the stir was a little dry and gumy. coffee was not offered on placement. if they didn't ask that they didn't receive. I don't have a problem with companies that adapt their offers as long as I have the information to make a sound decision."

"The food was excellent. We opted for paneer butter masala and chana masala as our main course options and the food was made to perfection. There was no one at the restaurant reception or in the whole restaurant when we entered. We had to wait for sometime before someone came out of the kitchen to greet us and direct us to our table. In their defence, they had put up a label of Staff wanted . Nonetheless, the food made up for it. Hoping to eat there again."
