"Located across the road from the Beach, the $12 lunch menu is excellent value. We had steak which was well cooked and delivered with sauces and sides as ordered.Basic atmosphere but speedy service. Easy to get a drink from the bar and plenty of tables. Would happily come back here next time we are in Kirra."

"Don’t buy from here at all. Stay well away. Food comes in tiny containers with little to no meat...20$ a meal and you would need 2 for one person. When I called them they just hung up on me. Do yourself a favour...go anywhere but...here..."

"When your in town at Kirra head down to the hotel for a feed. Tuesday night was $15 surf n turf and was cooked great. We added 12 chicken wings with blue sauce and 10 calamari which was tender. 2 surf n turfs 12 wings and 10 calamari with an extra garlic sauce $50. Great value and they have a kids room."

"Just dropped in on our way home from Brisbane. Ordered a a pot of tea and a coffee. Staff are friendly and fast but i was shocked to pay $4.50 for one tea bag in a dirty tea pot. Come on, if you are advertising...a pot of tea use tea leaves not a crappy tea bag."

"This is a quirky little space, made more so by the inclement weather the night we went ruling out setting any outside tables. Its inviting, but very cosy, so don’t plan on having any private conversations over your meal. The staff are welcoming, chirpy and know the menu well.Speaking of which, the menu is a roll call of various ways to indulge in a carnivorous fantasy. There are ribs of all kinds, steaks, burgers, chicken and more, mostly steeped in finger licking marinades and rubs. The portion sizes are large and are laid out on wooden boards so you can get to each peace easily enough. It’s one of those places where you need to know your dining partners…no first dates here as its best to just dig in with your hands if you choose the house speciality ribs. Accompaniments were limited to potatoes several ways and salads and I don’t remember any specific desserts on the menu, but I am sure there was a small section detailing a few.Obviously, prices vary with what you order, but you can get a decent enough meal starting at about $18.00 up to about $30.00. All in all, a good night."
