"Hidden gem of a bar in Batavia, seems like a place most go to for drinks with maybe a side of food, and overall a really nice place. Nice interior, with pool and some other games upstairs in a sort of loft that overlooks the bar. They have a nice patio, but unfortunately it gets a lot of sun so maybe not the best option on a hot day like when we visited. Food was good, exactly what you would expect at a bar, but with prices everywhere going up so high I was really impressed with the reasonableness of pretty much all of their food choices. The portion size sort of matched, we didn't have leftovers, but I appreciated the reasonableness. I was disappointed that they were out of the Buffalo Chicken Crunch Roll, but owing to to supply chain issues seen everywhere I can't really hold it against them. I ended up opting for the taco pizza special. It was more of a flatbread which I didn't realize upon ordering, but it was decent. My husband got the grilled chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. When we ordered wings they also had to check because they were low but they did end up having enough and they were pretty solid, extra saucy. Like any good bar they had a wide variety of drink options and specialties. I really appreciated them having prices next on the menu for their drinks. I honestly can't remember ever seeing that, it is so nice to know what you can expect when your bill comes. Service was friendly, overall a relatively typical bar, but a couple of their positive features lead me to believe we will stop by again soon."

"Used to be okay about ten twelve years ago. The past three visits were very disappointing. The food comes at different times . Kid meal last? Not fun when you have a very hungry little one who has nothing to eat for 20mn while the adults eat. On the visit prior to this visit we found hair on chicken fingers after waiting an hour, and were told it did not match any of the staff . No apology. When the new fingers were brought they had parmesan on them and were mushy. We had ordered plain. My last takeout pizza was wrong and burnt. I loved this place since moving here, for years and years, but sad to say I probably will not be back. Something has changed."

"For many years, I have been eyeing this place up. Usually when I'm in Batavia though, I'm there on a Sunday, and O'Lacy's is not open. I came here with my parents and was so thrilled.Immediately when I entered, I felt a sense of home. This pub transported me back to Ireland. I miss Ireland so much. The entire vibes of the place were positive and homey and exuded friendship.I ordered the Uncle Louie with the famous chips and it didn't disappoint. I really liked the sauce that came on the side for dipping with the chips and sandwich. It had a good flavor. My mouth is watering thinking about this sandwich and chips. The service was great as well. It was only the bartender and waitress and every table was taken, as well as tables in the patio, so they were both hustling, but still attentive."
