"Well where do I start with my review of the Cochin restaurant? Firstly having never dined there before we were not sure what to expect. We had only read reviews on TripAdvisor and Google which had been very complemently about the food and service so we wanted to give it a try. We had a table booked for 2 at 8.30, and we were met at the door and shown to our table by the window by a very pleasant waiter. He prompty brought over our menus, and we began to peruse through. The menu had a extensive selection of fish dishes which pleased me as I love fish, so I felt spoilt for choice as my expectations grew. The waiter was very attentive and informal and very knowledgeable about the dishes on their menu, and was happy to answer any questions we had. I finally settled on the fishermans soup for starter. Sadly this was a big let down! Very watery, no depth of flavour and next to no fish in an actual fish soup!!! My friend ordered the minty chilli prawns, the sauce which coated the prawns was tasty and zingy and the prawns cooked nicely however sadly the portion size and presentation was disappointing. Both starters seemed to arrive very quickly after ordering, which was a surprise. It seemed to me they had just been warmed through and thrown onto a plate. For my main course I ordered the mixed seafood curry which consisted of King fish,squid,prawns and mussels cooked in authentic Kerala special spice mixed sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly and the earthy Kerala special spice mixed sauce was the perfect accompaniment to the fish. Sadly the squid was over cooked and rubbery which was the only negative aspect to the dish. My friend overed the kuttanadan duck roast which consisted of slices of duck cooked in thick roast gravy sauce. The sauce had a lovely velvety rich flavour to it however the duck itself was a big let down as sadly it was tough a chewy. All in all some postives but also some negatives. If this was a school report it would probably read, 'tries hard but can do better '!!!"

"Now that we can walk to a decent curryhouse, we are visiting our favourite Bangladeshi restaurant in Bedford far less often, which is ridiculous when the food is so superior! Tonight all 5 of us loved our delicious meals. I had my usual vegan pathia, which was the best I’ve ever tasted, (always a good indicator of a great restaurant, when every time you eat there, the food is the best you’ve ever tasted! The bonus tonight though was being informed that they have stopped using ghee in their pilau rice, so now, apart from the keema rice, every other rice is suitable for vegans so I had the coconut rice . We’ll be back again soon!!"

"4 of us visited radhuni on the eve of the 21st mai ‘22 we were not disappointed wonderful Indian food; long and interesting menu with many selections from different areas indiens. all have fun! in contrast to many Indian restaurants I have visited where everything seems to end in a generic orange sauce; the aromes were complex, the ingredients varied in color. my court was a beautiful green! the rezada was amazing. delicious vegetable beside dishes; good meat and fish. huge bottles of kingfisher beer to wash it a freky rosé . we shared a kufi for dessert, all too filled for each one were treated with a free baileys. the waiters were charming; above all ash was the location beautiful. high ceilings and space loads. I think the historic building was a flown teestube I grew up in bedford years ago. reincarnated as a high quality Indian restaurant, it is a place where I would not hesitate to return to my next visit to bedford. thanks to radhuni!"

"Staff polite but not attentive. When you sit down for dinner and the first thing you hear is a long list of not available meals and a list of the only last ones available does not set the right mood for the night. The food we could order was nice but we had to ask for drinks and we were just left. The management need to look at improving and stock up the kitchen. At the end both card machines run out out paper so no receipts. We will not rush back any time soon. Disappointing."

"This restaurant serves stunning tapas a real foodie paradise in a casual pub situation. the broken foods are light and crisp, fresh and authentic. many care goes into the creation of these dishes and it really shows when the products come on the table. the churros for dessert was a perfect end for a great evening."

"Right to begin. Food was poorly cooked. Fish was served in oil older than my grandad. We complained and the manager acted very juvenile with attitude refusing to hear the complaint. He was telling is how we should be complaining. Outrageous isn't. How would you feel if this happened to you. It felt like i could not convey my complaint at all. Chips were not as salty as the managers attitude. Outrageous behavior and attitude"
