"Man sitzt draußen im Grünen auf unbequemen Stühlen. Das Personal ist eher mit eigenen Freunden die vorbei kommen beschäftigt und nicht mit dem Servieren. Das Essen schmeckt wortwörtlich wiederlich, und der Koch verschönert ein schwarzes Schnitzel mit Blattsalat. Wenn es dunkel wird, gibt es keine Beleuchtung. Das Servicepersonal ist tattoowiert , gepiercst und sehr unfreundlich. Und zu alledem ist das Essen teuer."

"Love the old fashioned interior. It's like stepping back in time. The menu offers something for everyone plus changing specials depending on seasonal food available. The local beer from the tab was refreshing. Will definitley be returning. Easy to find: just opposite Burg church."

"We reserved a table by phone and welcomed there. It was really an experience with the driving train to get drinks there and the staff are absolutely great. The prices are fine and it's really nice here. You need to know that! Go!"

"After a few kilometres of the Gurkenradweg we arrived in Burg and decided to stay a night. So we came to this restaurant for dinner. The staff told us it will be a little longer the service as there are some guests celebrating birthday. We decided to make an appetizer, traditional soup from the GDR era SOLJANKA and several cucumbers pickles the very traditional dishes from this area it is great and the beer is always good, we chose hering fish with potato salad and potatoes with cream and linseed oil the food are easy to understand local delicacies and the staff are very friendly."

"We stayed at the Street Food Festival in Schlepzig over the weekend and felt very welcome and comfortable at our overnight stay in the Colonies. The four-sided farm is a beautiful, very natural ensemble with many loving details that only gradually fall into the eye. The pretty little back house with court shop, a wardrobe next to the barn, a wedding oak and much more. This isn't all perfect and that's good. The rooms are incredibly cozy, the bathroom is a dream with its own sauna. We did not miss TV and Internet on the contrary! It was much more exciting to explore the terrain and the surroundings...For our bikes there was a seperate bicycle shed and in the courtyard you could also drink a beer late in the evening. Here I would still have a little bit of excitement for you: it would be great if there were a little cozy lighting in the courtyard in the summer. Maybe a few candles on the tables or a light chain. But this did not have a negative effect on our overall impression. Even breakfast has left no wishes open, everything has been done. We like to come back!"
