"Two night weekend stay, February 2022. Room type was Main Inn Ocean View Suite. Overall, this is a beautiful historic resort almost 110 years old so vintage charm is to be expected. The Main Inn Ocean View Suites on the top floor have private balconies overlooking the ocean, just know that the Main Inn is set back from the water on a hill, and is too far away too hear the waves.We enjoyed dinner at the Sacred Cod restaurant and both breakfast and dinner delivered via room service. All of the food was very good and service was outstanding. Everyone who works there was exceedingly professional, friendly, and helpful.The suite’s furniture was lovely, and both the bed itself and the bedding were some of the most comfortable we’ve experienced. Luxury touches like bathrobes, slippers, and a Nespresso machine added to the experience.Considering our winter stay, I cannot comment on the beach, pool, any of the seasonally closed restaurants, or other outdoor amenities. We did make use of the hotel’s complimentary valet parking and found the location convenient for a day trip to Provincetown."

"The new name of this place is Garden City. We had one large pepperoni pizza, one salad, two adult and one child servings of spaghetti with meat sauce, two beers and 3 soft drinks...total was $73 before the tip? We were overcharged by 2 salads $12). The pizza was good but the crust was soggy instead of crisp...would go back but in no hurry...and will watch the cashier more closely. I’m sure the overcharge was unintentional."

"Visited around 4:30 on a cloudy Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't very busy. I have a two year old daughter with a peanut allergy and the manager (owner? was extremely helpful, patient, and thorough as we discussed menu items that were safe or had possible cross contamination risks. She ended up with a plain hot dog (which they served on a separate tray than the rest of our food and the few bites I snuck were delicious. I may get one for myself next time. We adults went the simple route and had cheeseburgers they were amazing! Three adults easily split one order of naked fries. Beers on tap were a nice treat. The fenced in, outdoor patio was the perfect venue to let our little one roam if she got antsy while we ate, and you wouldn't know you were on a somewhat busy section of Rte 28. Corn hole bean bags are available inside in exchange for some collateral (ID, credit card, etc. . We'll be back!"
