"The service here is very personal they learn your names and address you by name. This is meant to be an experience more than just a dinner, so expect to be there for a while. There are so many delicious dessert options and side options! Unfortunately, they don't have any vegetarian entrées, but they made a vegetarian pasta dish for me."

"After a harrowing trip on I-70, we found ourselves approaching Collinsville at dinnertime. I searched for a restaurant with a patio and this was first. My cocktail was delightful, but most importantly my salad was made with fresh greens. I had a mahi wrap that was also fresh and tasty. The patio was on the east side of the restaurant and there was abundant shade. My husband’s beer, “The Weekend Addition,” is a good wheat beer. The Pub Salad gets two thumbs up. The bacon ranch salad dressing is delightfully tangy. For what was a last minute desperation stop for dinner, this turned out to be a wonderful meal. If we are in the area again, we will plan on eating at The Old Herald Brewery."

"My father and man have a burger and they are thick and fresh! Pepsi was fresh and bubbly. The sweet tea was bland, but not bad we like our strong so we traded it for root beer and it was great! The frits are made at home and delicious. I have the grilled chicken spoke and it was perfectly juicy, seasoned! I added cheese and roasted onions and it was just phenomenal! The waitress was sweet and very helpful in deciding what to order. We will be sure again!!!!"

"Good food. Huge portions. Two people can easily split a meal. Good service. Reasonable prices for what you get. Our only complaint is that the tables are very close to each other in most cases (the chairs are a foot or two away from the next chair). Not a great place to go if you are worried about social distancing. Staff are wearing masks, but some are wearing them under their noses. In normal times, that wouldn't be as much of an issue. Overall good place. We may just wait to go back when it's less busy."
