"We headed to the Midland Theater in Kansas City last night to see a Sparks concert there, and I must say, it was awesome! The acoustics in that venue are pretty great. The positive vibes and collective enthusiasm emanating from all the Sparkies in attendance made for a truly unforgettable experience. Finding free parking downtown can be like looking for dear Aunt Mable, who's gotten lost again in the Walmart. It took some effort, but eventually, we found a spot on the street. It's probably better to park a ways away and ride the streetcar (or the Max buses at the moment the streetcar is out of commission for repairs). One area the Midland could improve on is the beer prices. I mean, seriously? $14 for one beer? Every cent I saved on cheap Sparks tickets was immediately spent on overpriced alcohol. I get it, they gotta make their money, but come on. Despite the beer cost, I'm giving the Midland Theater a solid 5 out of 5, just because the place itself is freakin' awesome! Even though I had to sell my firstborn for a cold one, it was still worth it."
