"After 18 holes on a very L O N G golf course went to late lunch. Had the soup (Beef Barley) and sandwich (Pulled Pork)....SO good. The waitress was excellent and was very proud that she was all there (except the bread)... Homemade is a good thing!"

"This is the best sushi on Vancouver island and quite possibly the best I’ve had ever in any place, although, I have not been to Japan yet. But seriously, we drive over 30 mins to come here because it is by far the best. It might not look “fancy”, but the sushi is so fresh and perfectly prepared and they put so much care into their dishes and it definitely shows in the flavor filled food they serve. 10 out of 10 would recommend."

"This is the best restaurant in Duncan. Always great service and incredible food and drinks. The deconstructed carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and ginger glace is to die for. Food presentation is always spectacular."

"Its the neighbourhood pub for my roomates I used to live with in North Saanich BC.Always good fun/service is great/and reasonably priced.Staff always remember what I drink even if I have not been there in months/the sign of a good staff....not easy to find now adays"

"I stopped in for a pick up order. The hostess was so rude!! I told her I liked the Szechwan pizza and she said it's no longer on the menu. I asked if I could get those ingredients on a pizza and she sighed and said she had no idea what had on it. I ordered the perogy pizza instead. When she brought it out, there was no sour cream (included). I asked her for some, she went back for about 3 minutes and then gave it to me saying "ok then?" Bad service and I hate that I tipped before realizing how bad it really was. Never again - Thursday night"

"The staff make it clear that their kitchen cannot avoid cross contamination and there is a huge disclaimer on the front of the menu that if you actually have to avoid gluten have anything other than a "mild gluten sensitivity" they cannot safely prepare your food."

"While travelling across Canada to spend hard-earned dollars on a celebratory meal with family... we visited this pub for its amazing location & view. The food was so disappointing it had to be sent back TWICE. Server exasperated the experience by making lame excuses. All food ordered was not complicated. Over the course of TWO HOURS we ended up not eating. Front line staff needs customer service training. Kitchen staff needs culinary training. Please improve and give this location what it deserves."
