"The chamäleon presents itself in a pouring inner city location on the pedestrian zone next to a small playground. inside stylish and with well maintained beer garden terrace it is equipped with a modern crossover menu with pizza, pasta, steaks and some regional offered as well as snacks student-friendly and inexpensive. on a rather warm summer evening a terassenplatz was ideal. uncomplicated reception by a standing waiter; can the friendly chef? after filling the liquid deficiency, which is fast and suitable, with a cool veltin (0.5l 3.30€ . from the flyers on the table and the additional full-fledged menu, the pizza diavolo (sharf with fresh garlic and peperoniwurst etc.) fell into my eye. for the sympathetic cure from 6,90€ after about 15min comes a flat but well filled table finally a sharp dish as described, although not exaggerated; good that the pilgers are still enough. very aromatic and concise the well-fitting garlic that accompanies me in the night! nothing overwhelming, but delicious and good tastefully spicy harmonious. locally with normal guests and good choice usable. suitable for any type of raster or return."

"For me, the stem pub in Gießen. I'm sure you've been there regularly for over 12 years. When I lived in Gießen during my training days, I often go to an evening beer with my best mate. The interior is stylish, unpleasant and unique in its shape. Peter (the man behind Thresen is a real original with a moving life story. It always serves the most delicious things with a dry spice on the lips. Whisky and beer fans are here at their expense. Everything is very old-fashioned and you have the feeling that time has stopped there. Only that you can smoke there is great. However, Pete attaches value to a minimum of behavior. If you're too loud, he'll tell you, and the next time he'll accompany you politely, but surely to the door. You're welcome. The fact that he is almost 80 and that still makes every day is impressive. I'm afraid of the day that this unique and legendary institution no longer exists. I remember going back there; I ask Pete to greet and hope that he and the Ascot will stay for many years."

"The enchilada' is quite large with many seats inside and outside. so they rarely have problems finding a place, on the other side it can sometimes be quite loud and busty. Unfortunately there are only 3 vegan options on the menu: fajitas fried sweetpotatoes grilled roman salat that is it. nothing else there are a few vegetarian dishes that can be veganized by cheese or cream, but all in all it is rather a not-fall solution because the taste of the plate then suffers a lot. the enchiladas were quite okay, but not amazing. the portions were quite large, but still somewhat overpriced, especially if the hunger is not so great. very good is the selection of drinks, for example a huge selection of alcoholic and alcohol-free cocktails, various beers as well as homemade limonade."
