"We arrived in Ica after a five hour bus trip. We were very hungry right across the street was Norky's. A clean comfortable restaurant. Good service a decent menu. The facilities were also clean. For a quick bite a moment yo...relax after a long trip, Norky's is highly recommended."

"The hostel is great for those wanting a quieter time than some other hostels have. Nice beds and good food (bacon was so crispy and delicious). No breakfast included in the dorm rooms though. Nice decoration throughout. Bamboo everywhere!"

"No outdoor seating, but pleasant inside. Cheapest option in town. The ducks were super filled Avacado and Peruvian stuffed potatoes. yum. disappointed by the nets. Mushroom spaghetti and mushroom and chicken. The mushroom sauce was made with cornflour and not very beautiful. Another couple seemed to have made better choices. spaghetti and meat and a bowel dish. No ice cream available, but we were here at the Easter weekend, so maybe the stocks were low. It was ok for a cheap meal in a small place with limited choices."

"My husband and I had a couple hours to kill in Ica before our overnight bus to Arequipa. We walked down to the plaza and checked tripadvisor for recommendations. I only looked quickly and saw the high overall score so we decided to go. We...were the only people in the restaurant, should have been our first warning. As all the other reviews say, the owner is very personable. He chats you up, makes recommendations. I would see those recommendations as him telling you what he actually has on the menu. We went with the Pisco Sours and two chicken dishes he recommended Ica style and another that had a bacon and cheese stuffing. The wait then begins. We had to wait almost an hour for the food. The Pisco Sours tasted a little off, so I didn't drink mine but my husband drank his. The food finally came and it was not good at all. Overcooked chicken with questionable sauces. At that point my husband was starting to feel sick, so I ate a couple bites and we paid nearly $30. The whole 13 hours on the bus to Arequipa my husband was sick, I think it was the Pisco (maybe bad egg? I would not recommend this restaurant, there are lots of other friendly Peruvians that also serve delicious food."

"It sounds like I'm not the only person cheated on this place. I paid for a stupid Buggy tour that was brilliant), but the guy gave me a fake 50 note. Now a part of me wanted to give the fat the advantage of doubt; Maybe someone gave it to him, and it slipped his mind. Then I spoke to others in the city, and they said EVERY Peruano can make a fake bill a mile away from its appearance and texture, and that it was definitely dishonest. Come on. I was in dozens of countries over the last 20 years and have never given a fake bill for such a large amount of money $15US). To be fair, he paid my entrance fee to the dunes 3 soles), so I was really only deceived from 47 soles. He was drunk when we came back from the tour, so I didn't even want to get my money back...."
