"I love such places. Simple menu, but still enough options to try everything. I chose the Cajun Burger and Pommes with a chocolate coke. All were delicious. Service was also very friendly and fast. Did not end there long after breakfast so beat the lunch break."

"Having been living in Kannapolis since 2007 I am very familiar with the quality of El Amigo, however, after todays dinner I can assure you that the quality has significantly degraded. When ordering to go in the past they packaged meals in an aluminum container with a plastic lid. This is vital to excellent Mexican food as it quickly becomes cold and compromises it?s taste, as it has today. Additionally, when ordering a California burrito and asking for the guac on the side 3 times on the phone emphasizing the point, they completely forgot to provide the side of quac. The chips are from a different distributor of less quality in addition to them being cold. The salsa has too much jalapeño, I am very familiar with the usual taste. Thanks El Amigo for making my dog Dakota enjoy her dinner."

"Got there at 6pm to find the dining room closed. With 4 cars ahead , we waited 20 minutes to get to the drive in window. Extremely slow service. The curly fries I got were horrible. Extremely greasy and limp. I couldn't eat them. Very dissatisfied. I will not be back."

"I always have a pleasant dining experience when going there. My servers are always so kind and efficient. Mac was the last gentleman to serve us there, and he's the best. Not to mention, the food is exceptional every single time. It has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for the last year while living so close to Kannapolis, NC. You won't regret dining here!"
