"It was restaurant week, so we had the three course lunch special, a Greek salat, souvlaki teller and rolled baklava, also had the gyro plate, it was really good. the place is clean and really cozy. the waiter was friendly and very attentive. in any case will come again. make sure they bring the change for the parking counter."

"We were here with a large group celebrating a family event. Excited, noisy crowd, and the staff was outstanding. Managed to get us to order even though we were all distracted. They were on top of everything, really great job all around. I had a burger, excellent. The group had anything from salad to wings, and everyone had positive reports. The beer is OUTSTANDING. I stayed with the Irish Red, tried the House IPA, and both were top notch. Really great place. Good food, great beer, but like anywhere the ate staff is what makes the place and the staff is incredible! Our waitress was Emma, and she was a serious pro with all the craziness happening. Fantastic."

"Pricey for a late lunch... queso was runny with very little flavor. Tacos and enchiladas were just ok. Margaritas weren't very good, as two people in our party tried them and didn't finish them. Disappointed..."

"Love this place! eating was amazing! Pretzel sticks hot and crispy but soft inside (with the beer cheese) were so delicious! loved the truffle friries, perfectly cooked and wonderfully tasted! but my biggest surprise was the chicken sandwich. I didn't think I liked a red carnation on my huh, but I decided to try it and it was fabulous. the service was on the point and the atmosphere of the pub was perfect. even the prizes we encourage for eating. with our son at ku we will come back soon!"

"CAUTION Unprofessional, deceptive service from management!!!!! Negative stars if possible!!!!! When our group was being seated Sunday by a very gracious hostess, she told us that the special today featured free refills on mimosas until 2pm for a cost of $5. We all finished our meal and enjoyed several of the mimosa specials. We about spit however, when we got our check and found out we were billed $5.00 EACH for the mimosas we had ordered !!! WHAT.... are you kidding me? Where are the cameras? This is a joke?right? I called our waiter over to discuss the obvious overcharging and he no idea what had happened. Our waiter then asked a girl named Alex, the restaurant manager, to come over to our table. Alex walked up and asked me what my problem was? I politely explained that the gracious hostess that sat our group explained to each and every one of us that the ?Sunday Special? today were mimosas for $5.00 with FREE refills until 2pm, and that we were over charged $5.00 for EACH instead. Without hesitation she snapped back at myself and our table and said ?I don?t believe you, the hostess would never say that to you?. WHAT? This Alex the manager girl just called all of us liars without ever consulting her hostess!!!! She continued to tell us ?You all should have confirmed this special with your waiter first.? I started to reply to the completely disrespectful way Alex was addressing our group, when she smiled, and literally laughed out loud at our table, turned and walked away !!!! Our waiter stood there with astonishment. Our entire group was stunned at the total lack of professionalism and the blatant rudeness shown by Alex the manager. We paid the over charged bill and started to leave the restaurant only to run into Alex once again standing close to the doorway with two other staff members laughing loudly at all of us as we walked out, as if to try to humiliate us like a high school bully with the big mouth that everybody hated. Great way to treat a whole table of guests Genovese.... Genovese should NOT have this Alex girl in a management position period!! We won?t be back~~who wants to be abused and lied to more than once ?"

"My head became inflamed after eating their chicken curry. I'm not positive I can blame them, but I will not be visiting them again. Some friends dragged me here for lunch, as it's a popular place in Lawrence. I ordered something simple this time, appetizers of chicken sauté and fresh spring roll. The chicken must have been constituted into this rectangular shape. Didn't have any negative health side effects so that was good. We arrived at 11:30am so the place was still in preparation mode."

"I have not been here in a while but man have prices gone up. I mean prices have gone up everywhere but guess I was a little shocked how much they have increased here. Wish they would bring back copperhead chicken tenders."
