"A warm welcome from Bernard, the patron, who was extremely attentive throughout the evening. His wife is the chef. The menu was exciting - not a huge choice, which is always a good sign, and it changes daily. We both had the foie gras as a starter (although I was very tempted by the escargots a la creme), served with pear chutney and a green leaf salad with a delicious honey and cassis dressing. My husband then had partridge with red cabbage and I had the ravioli with crayfish - divine! I was not able to manage a dessert, but my husband had a delicious nut and dried fruit tart. The wine list was also interesting - Bernard owns the nearby Cave a Vins. We had a Pic Saint Loup which we both thought delicious. We wanted to go back the following night, but they were full, so we bought a bottle of the same wine from Bernard's Cave instead! 22 Euros for 2 courses, 27 Euros for three - tremendous value!"
