"Honestly, I am at a loss to explain the current standings of this restaurant We dined at Weinhaus Mehling a few days ago. Our experience at Gasthaus Schonbrunnen was at least as good, if not better. It's not just the food, which was...excellent. But that waitress! She was extremely busy, yet maintained perfect good humour and managed to have a friendly talk with us when we were about to leave. A real treasure, if you ask me. Getting back to the food, we had two soups for starters. The pumpkin soup was ok, the beef broth with pieces of liver and klößchen was very tasty. Then we had pork schnitzel and pork medaillons with pfifferlinge (a kind of mushroom), both very good. The Amaretto parfait was a bit cold, but the digestives, Wildsautropfen and Quetschgenwasser, made up for that. All in all, we highly recommend this restaurant."

"Ich nutze das Lokal hin und wieder als Pausenstation beim Mountainbiken..Die Lage im Wald ist sehr schön, direkt an Fahrradwegen. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich, kühle Getränke alles bestens. Aber das Essen ist sehr teuer (kleine portionen) und auch die Qualität ist meiner Meinung nach nicht gut. Habe aber aus diesen Gründen nur einmal dort gegessen."

"We were there at the start of our main tour and ate only a little bit: potato buffer and sausage salad. Although the potato buffers were delicious, I would close to convenience products here due to the ebony. But good, the price was fair! The sausage salad was good, not a reason to complain. And the beer was even better! Service was fast and friendly exemplary! Maybe you could offer more for children, but we could have asked."

"A place to relax and relax. We've been there a few times now and we'll be back again and again. Suitable for all ages, families, dog owners, hikers, etc. The operator (red hair) and her staff are extremely warm and give everything so everyone feels absolutely comfortable. The drinks are pleasant and the food tastes really good. Here Alt and Jung meet, locals and Herbeigewanderte and it is always funny. It is definitely worth a visit. And the wallet doesn't have to suffer here either."
