"Stopped by on a day trip of wine tasting. Decided we should eat and have a few non wine drinks .. found it based if reviews. Was able to get seated quickly although the place was packed we had a party of 8. Everything was delicious but the burgers were amazing especially the bacon burger!! Everyone was surprised how good the meat perfect medium rare! If you?re in town stop by here ?"

"Recently in the community craft for a wine tasting during a trip to the santa ynez valley. hid over it late the day (if most of los olivos has already been closed) and was warmly welcomed by jana, both a knowledgeable sommelier and zicerone that serves us a stellar selection of local weeps. as the restaurant next to the Monday was closed, they suggested we take a pizza to go from nella near what we did to enjoy with our tasting. perfect pairing! we left with a hand-picked selection of handmade beers (also a selection of handmade beers on the tap) and sweet reminders to a large local hangout!"

"Stopped by in a recent trip to the Solvang area. Sought this place out because of nice reviews on this family business. Actually the beer I tried was very good and I even bought some to go . They are very lacking in service and temperament. Basically ignored me for several minutes before asking what I needed. Not exactly rude, but definitely less than friendly and welcoming. They seemed to interact actively with customers who were there, but it seems they don 't want new business and new customers. Disappointing!"

"We love this restaurant, and the experience just seems to get better each time we go. The food is fabulous, as is the menu. Good job all around I would say the only criticism is maybe the music is too loud in and around the bar area."

"My son took me for a spa treatment and lunch at Mattei's for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect. All the staff we interacted with were top notch; every single one of them was friendly, approachable, polite, and accommodating. Our lunch was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server Liliana (I think that was her name...sorry if not) was probably one of the friendliest and most efficient servers I have had in a long time. She was so enthusiastic and I loved the vibe she put out. I had my spa treatment with Kelsey and it was ahhhh-mayyy-zinggg. She is super kind and gentle and my skin is STILL glowing. The ambiance was serene and calming. The spa itself was beautiful. Thank you for such an amazing experience!"
