"This is not a Greene King pub as advertised on the board at the front of the hotel/website. The room we had been allocated was dark, had a leaking toilet, a blind that didn't close and no curtains. This wasn't the main problem though: we weren't told until after we'd checked in that the pub facilities weren't available because of a large private party, meaning we had to find alternative arrangements at the very last minute. The management were not helpful. Only giving it one star as I can't give it no stars!"

"Come to the midland if you want to have the worst dining experience of your life. Not usually accustomed to being told off for ordering food and drinks. Staff are very friendly and polite, NOT! The Sunday dinner needed more sweetcorn too. Pork scratchings the only saving grace of this place. Avoid if you don’t want to have your day ruined. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1"
