"Updated 10/10/2023 What sets this bar apart is its fantastic, down-to-earth staff, with the super-friendly Katie and Mary leading the way. We all chose from the special menu and kicked back in the upper bar area. Katie and Mary not only met but totally exceeded our service expectations, making our experience seriously awesome. And the food? It was on point, leaving us totally satisfied. So, if you ever find yourselves in Newcastle, definitely check out Quinns! In the heart of Newcastle lies Quinns bar... One of my favourite local bars. (Great beer, lovely food and fantastic staff!"

"Manager (wearing a white hoodie) was extremely rude to his own staff, felt really sorry for a specific member of staff behind the bar who was on the receiving end of this. Not okay to treat your own staff this way at all, put us off ordering from here."

"Cool bar, really like the feel of this place. Came here a few times and never been disappointed yet. Service is really quick and you don't seem to get an idiots in there. The upstairs is decorated really unique too which adds to the ambience."

"Food was lovely and good value for money, but the staff were not very attentive. No check back to make sure we had no issues, and it took almost 30 minutes for them to clear mains plates and get desserts started (all on initial order). If I could give separate ratings for food and service, I'd only give 3* for service and 5* for food. Improvement needed or staff need better training"
