"What a brilliant place to go,weather for a drink or meal. The food is fantastic and very well priced. The atmosphere chilled and the staff are spot on. After your meal sit in the superb beer garden which is an amazing sun trap. Yep this place has it all even Sky Sports."

"The restaurant itself is cozy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. there were a few things not available on the menu, and the menu itself is quite small anyway, so was disappointing for a Friday night. we ordered the slowly cooked lamb dish. that was very delicious and we are very happy with. we also ordered the half-Jerch chicken that came out like a chicken curry. for me this was not half a jolly court, and while the aromen were nice, it was not up to the standard of other Jamaican restaurants in the environment. the sweet potato friries were very soft and chewing, so would not recommend ordering. overall it is not a bad place to eat. there are only other much better possibilities."

"My partner and I popped in to Meat tonight for some food. This is the first time we have tried this place. we were very surprised by the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The service was amazing, the food was top notch! Best burgers we have had by far. Highly recommended, local food, local people. We will definitely be returning."

"The personal was friendly and accommodating. at the time of my visit, the pub had a 5* food hygiene and had some great manager specialties on food. it was so busy that they feel comfortable, but not that overwhelmed the staff not quickly visited. the natives were friendly and engaged, making the visit all the more pleasant. I would definitely recommend a visit if they are in newport."

"Caerleon was recommended to go tonn from the hotel we were staying at so looked up The Bell, menu sounded good and we were not disappointed. Real cider on tap, warm friendly welcome by every member of staff, food was amazing, the scotch egg starter was one of the best I've had in a very long time, all home cooked food, delicious and nothing too much trouble. Staff were just lovely, young bubbly and very attentive, landlord or manager, not sure who he.was, was a breath of fresh air, smiling, chatty. Had a lovely evening, thank you all so much"
