"5 of us sat down for a few drinks and a a bite to eat at around 2pm, hoping to get in and out with plenty of time to enjoy the remaining sun on the beach.We ordered 2 ceviche to split, lunch, and large mojitos. The mojitos tasted like soda water...no lime or mint flavor, no rum, and with sugar granules at the bottom. We asked our server if they had alcohol, and he said yes, but took them back to add more. When they came back, nothing had changed, so we ordered 5 shots of Appleton Rum. We each took the shots straight....but they had CLEARLY been cut with water. We had ordered our food at the same time as when we initially ordered the drinks, and 1 hr 30 mins later...our ceviche finally arrived....but it was room temperature (warm)....yikes! We waited another 15mins, and our food still hadn't arrived, so we just paid for what we had had, and left. We walked over to Mamitas, and got lunch within 20mins of sitting down. While at Mamitas, we ordered another shot of Appleton rum, to compare....sure enough, it just confirmed our suspicions that Hacha had been watering down their liquor. Yikes. Bad experience all around AND they wasted all of our sun time..."

"We are so glad we found this place. The setting is in a very pretty courtyard. It is tiny with only about 4 tables and the menu is limited, but the food is fresh and delicious and the prices are very reasonable, It is run by a sister and brother who have a strong focus on healthy food. There is no alcohol so some people may want to make this a breakfast or lunch spot. We can't say enough good things about our meal."
